Perfect for Okonomiyaki making
I'm new to making the Japanese okonomiyaki. This griddle makes things so much easier, after working with the smallish griddle that came with our stove. I LOVE it! Clean up is a snap... for what little there is to clean up. I've only used it once for the batch of okonomiyakis shown it the photo, but I can see it will be my preferred method of cooking them! I can even become a travelling okonomiyaki specialist now! The only thing that I had to remedy before first use is putting some no-slip pads on each of the four feet. This eliminated a very slight rocking I had noticed, and it now has a very stable grip on the countertop. (I used small squares of camper mounting tape stuck to the bottom of the feet) Probably any kind of foam tape that's only sticky on one side will work. This is a great value for the money!

One of the Best!! ♥
Best darn Griddle I ever had nothing fancy added that you have to worry about. Very easy to clean and stores well. You can keep all the bells and whistles on some of them more expensive griddles. this cooks up just as good if not better. Grilled cheese mmm..hanburger patties Mmmm good... Hash browns, patties or shredded Mmmm... eggs perfect Mmmm... and dont forget pancakes and french toast! Great Griddle in my opion!!

Very Pleased :)
I am more than impressed (and relieved) that this griddle worked so perfectly. I read reviews for several griddles, so I was afraid to buy any of them. I was almost convinced that there is no griddle out there with even heating. However, I personally did not notice any "hot spot" problems or have trouble with some things being more cooked than others. I gave the griddle more than enough time to heat even after the indicator light came on and the heat seemed pretty even to me. I have only used it once so far. I had a few friends over and made about fifteen pancakes. I used a half cup of batter for each pancake and was able to fit three pancakes on at one time. I know there are some reviews that complain about the size, but if you read the product dimensions like I did and know what you're getting into that should not be a problem. If you plan to make a lot more at one time than I did then you should get a larger one. Plus, I know some people use less batter for one pancake than I do, so you might be able to fit more than three. Mine were about IHOP size and it didn't take me long at all to make them. Also, I know another problem with a lot of griddles in general is overheating or food getting too dark in a very, very short amount of time and I did not want to risk burning the pancakes, so instead of turning the heat to 350-400 degrees for pancakes like the directions said, I turned it to 325 degrees and just let them cook a little longer. Overall, the griddle was a joy to use. It is light, easy to clean, and easy to store. It is perfect if you don't have a lot of space for a larger griddle and don't plan to try to feed a large crowd. And at the time that I bought it, the price was just right at $19.99. I have not cooked anything on it other than pancakes but I am excited to see how it does with other food.

Saturday Morning Companion
Two years ago my wife and I purchased a Presto Electric Griddle, not knowing if we'd use it. A couple of months ago, someone dropped it and the handle broke, so we threw it away. It struck me almost immediately how often I used the griddle, when I'd go to reach for it in the cupboard and it wasn't there! We bought this one, the same model we had previously, from Amazon. The chief reason I use it is to cook breakfast for my family every Saturday morning. I can do half a pound of bacon on it, and it cooks it very well and fairly quickly, at just the right temperature. After the first batch, just shove the hot grease into the drain pan and lay on another half pound. After the bacon is all done, and the grease has been removed, I take a wet rag and wipe off the surface of the griddle to clean it. Then I cook the pancakes–six at a time, all of them evenly cooked. Sometimes I'll even do the eggs on it, depending on how many I'm cooking. The kids like them scrambled, and there isn't much of an edge guard so if you aren't careful you'll spill them over the edge or drain them into the drain pan. A few observations that may be helpful: 1) I'm currently cooking breakfast for five of us, but we have two babies that will soon be enjoying bacon, pancakes, and eggs with us. The griddle is a little small for that quantity of food. However, you have to store it, so if it were much bigger then that would pose other problems. 2) The best way to clean it is to take a rag and wipe the thing clean while it's still warm with a little bit of soap and water. 3) Look for deals on Amazon before buying. I don't think it's worth the MSRP of 39.99 or whatever it is, but at anywhere between 20 and 30 dollars on sale, you'll get your money's worth. (And you will get your money's worth at 40 dollars too, but if you can get it cheaper, why not wait?) In short, I love the griddle and think you will too!

Very Convenient
I love this grill, and use it roughly every week to make pancakes. I was surprised at how fast it heats up. I haven't timed it, but I'd say about 3 minutes to heat up to 350ºF. Others may think this is slow, but to me it's fast. The top has a nice even heat to it, and I haven't once burned a pancake on it even when I forgot to flip it for a few extra minutes. It's much better than trying to use a pan and an electric oven. This grill only heats up to the dial, so I can turn it on and walk away without worrying about damaging my pan. The non-stick is nice too. No more burning butter in a pan. So far, it's held up nicely to hand washing. Obviously I don't use metal flippers on it. I usually don't like these types of products as they become very messy and hard to clean up, but this model is submersible. I just soap it up with a sponge and run it under my sink. As I stated, I normally don't go for these types of products, but the price for me was right to give it a try. If I had to put a negative down, I'd say two things, both of which are trivial. First, the little slide out drip tray falls out really easily when moving the unit around. It stays put just fine when actually using the unit though. I just have a habit of picking the thing up from the back. My own fault. Second, be careful of the plug. For my set-up, it likes to wrap back around and sit right on top of the grill. Lastly, I'm kinda sad I didn't see they had a bigger area unit for sale when I bought mine, not that I would have bought it at that time. After using this unit for a while, I want more area so I can make pancakes even faster. I can fit two large pancakes at a time on the grill. I'm sure better cooks or smaller pancakes would increase how fast one can crank out food. I find it enough to keep two people in pancakes until they are sated. For a larger family with hungry teenagers, I'd want more space to make sure people aren't waiting for food. Overall, I'm very pleased. This is a practical product at a good price. I bought a second one for my friend for Christmas.

Better than a frying pan!
I purchased this Griddle to avoid having eggs or pancakes running into each other in a frying pan due to lack of space. I am very happy with my purchase. This griddle is big enough to cook probably 3 or 4 pancakes or 2 or 4 eggs at a time, with bacon on the side and everything spaced out well. The griddle is fairly flat, I keep it in a drawer with other frying pans stacked on top of it. The power cord/temperature controller actually gets inserted into one side so I remove it to make storage easier and just insert it and plug it in for use and it sits right on my counter top as I cook. It heats up very quickly, it has with a temperature knob that you set the actual degree's instead of a high/medium/low setting like a stove but it comes with a little chart that tells you what temperature to used based on different types of food. It provides even and consistent heat and cooks eggs, pancakes, and bacon very well. There is a grease trap for any bacon grease ect. and it is very easy to clean. I just lean it in the sink and wash it with dish soap and soft sponge and it cleans up very easily and quickly. All in all this is a great product. It is reliable, performs well, and is fairly convenient. The only thing I would bring to reviewers attention was I had to buy this for about $36 from a 3rd party seller as it was not available for sale by Amazon or prime and 2 days after I received it I saw it on sale at Macy's for $19.99. Just a memo in case it helps anyone save a few dollars.

Love this. Great size for three of us. Heat is distributed well, cooks evenly. Could tilt a bit more to keep fat from building up, but overall a great purchase. Cleans easily and easy to store.

Good value for the money
I was shopping for a fairly specifically-sized griddle, as I wanted it to fit in the same footprint as my previous griddle. This one offered me more heated space (ie: less frame) than my old unit, and seems to be of a decent quality. The heat distribution on mine seems very good (judged by a fairly even colouration on pancakes; I'm pretty sure that's an industry-standard test......) The overall construction feels a bit low budget, but I can't see an obvious failure mode waiting to happen, and expect that I'll get as much life-per-dollar out of this as I would its more expensive cousins. So far, so good. 9/10 would buy again.

Excelente compra
Recomendado!!
