SHEDS BAD
I have come to the conclusion that none of the reasonably priced robes on Amazon are worth ordering. This is the fourth one I have sent back. This one sheds really bad. I expect a fleece robe to do some shedding but this one is really bad and the first two I bought and sent back were worse than this one. Then ordered and sent one back because the extra large was tailored to fit a tall thin people. I kept one that isn't shedding too bad but one of the pockets is sewn on two inches higher than the other and it is already falling off because of poor stitching....but I can sew it back on (shouldn't have to repair a $30.00 robe). They were all beautiful robes and beautiful colors but what is wrong with the material that makes it shed so bad. I have a fleece robe that I've had for years and it never did shed like these. As far as reviewing THIS robe..... it is a beautiful, soft, warm and cozy robe. One side of the front pockets is actually sewn into the side seam. I didn't care for that because it put the pockets too far to the sides for my liking....that may not be an issue for some and I would have lived with it if the shedding wasn't so bad. It was nice and long and the extra large was actually an extra large with enough room to lap over and completely close in the front. I knocked one star off for the shedding. After the first wash I picked all the pieces off. Washed it again and it was worse than after the first washing. Knocked the second star off because I wasn't happy with the location of the pockets.
