I'll start by saying this is the best wallet I've ever owned. It looks nice and feels good quality. The leather is a decent thickness without the wallet being bulky, and the layout is incredibly practical. You can fit a huge number of cards into this thing without it becoming cumbersome (I have eight in mine but could easily fit more), and the small pocket for change is just the right size for someone who mainly pays contactless but can't avoid having a few coins on them. The packaging is also extremely premium-feeling, so it would make a good gift. Downsides are that mine has a tiny amount of wonky stitching, which is forgivable given the price, but could be improved upon. Also, the seams are all single rather than double stitched. It does seem like good quality and it's held up fine so far, but I'll report back if any of the stitching or seams start to come loose. As mentioned before the packaging is very nice and premium feeling, but also that means it's a bit wasteful if all you want is the wallet. It would be nice to have an option with minimal packaging. Overall though it's great value for money, and I'd highly recommend buying your next wallet from this company.

Wallet arrived a couple of days ago, and having just transferred cash and cards from my old wallet, I have to say I'm impressed. The presentation is great. The wallet comes wrapped in tissue paper with an anti-mould tab, inside a drawstring bag, inside a presentation box. Would be ideal to give as a gift, with or without additional wrapping. The wallet itself looks very nice. One slot for a card on the front, three inside with space behind them for more, the usual space for banknotes at the back, and a small zipped change section on the outside. All card slots are protected by a thin, metallic, RFID-blocking mesh lining (see photo), so any contactless cards you have will be protected from skimming. I've tested every slot using my own contactless cards with the Blockr phone app, and it doesn't detect a thing once the cards are in the wallet - even using the front and inner slots which have thumb cut-outs for easier card removal. The only thing I would point out is that the banknote section is only just deep enough for UK banknotes up to £20. £5 and £10 are fine, but the current paper £20 note just about fits, with only millimetres to spare. A £50 note will most likely not fit without some overhang, though you can of course fold them. It is worth bearing in mind that early 2020 will see the launch of a new polymer £20 note, which will be smaller and will fit better. However, if you're someone who's fortunate enough to be walking around with a stash of £50s, you may want to look for something a little larger. :-) All in all, a great wallet, especially for the price I paid. Would recommend to anyone.

I already have the simple card holder but wanted one that held notes as well. Presentation of the wallet was exceptional, easily could be given as a gift. Can hold no less than 8 cards, one slot on the outside provides quick access to the one used most frequently with a thumb slot to get it out quickly. Workmanship is spot on - no problems at all. Personally I would have liked to see an Akielo wallet that was a little smaller and thinner with one outer slot and one or may two inner with the ability to hold notes as well, to really slim it down to the minimum thickness and size - unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any like this.....this one is a little bigger than I prefer but it is really very good either way.

Ive had it for 3 weeks now the Thickness and Size of the wallet is perfect plenty of card space love the pull out card system. Comes in a lovely box and bag and wrapped in brand Akielo paper. In the box was cards Welcoming me to the Akielo family and direction's. This is my second Akielo wallet , the first being a metal card wallet , amazing quality from both. This wallet is a lovely vegan leather in a nice brown colour , lots of compartments for cards, even more little pockets to store other things like a tile tracker or air tag. Also features a coin purse in the back, a quick access card slot and a slot in the front that isn't RFID blocked, for the likes of hotel key cards etc

Just thought I'd chime in with a few words 2 years into using one. Material just started to deteriorate around the bend and seams. The pull tab inside crumbled a bit too. It still is a decent wallet with the handy coin pouch and plenty of card storage. Probably time for a new wallet..

This is the second Akielo wallet I’ve bought. I think they are great - stylish, smart, well made, and a great price. But the main reason I bought this specific wallet is that I wanted something that could accommodate my Apple AirTag and not be affected by the RFID blocking technology sewn into the product. This wallet has a coin pouch on the outside. It’s large enough for the AirTag and being on the outside of the wallet the AirTag signal is not affected by RFID. When I tried putting my AirTag into another wallet it didn’t work because it was completely surrounded by RFID material.

As a slim credit card wallet with section for banknotes this (excuse the pun) fits the bill perfectly. Before even getting to the Akielo RFID Bi-fold card wallet I could tell by the packaging that it was going to be of good quality. The wallet was encased in a cloth bag and presented in a branded gift box. The genuine matte leather finish and perfect stitching didn't disappoint. The wallet is exactly as described and now contains the only 7 cards I use. The 2 thumb notch sections (1 external and 1 internal) provide quick and easy access to most frequently used cards. Behind each of the 2 card slot internal sections there are another 2 sections where a card could be slotted in although, due to the newness of the leather, they might initially be quite difficult to remove. The pull tab section could easily hold 3 cards which provides enough space to hold 10 cards in total. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a wallet to hold just cards and banknotes.
