Excellent spray gun. Works as advertised.
The gun sprays this product very well. Highly recommended. Like the enclosed literature says, be sure to warm up the Woolwax with a heater unless it is hot outside and you can put it in the sun. Basically they make the product as thick as possible for durability considering the need to be sprayable. As for the Woolwax itself, there's no bad smell and it doesn't drip unless you apply a very very heavy coating. I used a regular dust mask and had no breathing issues at all. This looks like a nice option for corrosion control. On internal closed sections like rocker panels and truck tailgate I'm thinking one application will last a long time. External surfaces may need a respray every year or two.

Nice spray gun, good product, no smell
After a number of years using fluid film, I really like this product. It’s lanolin based just like fluid film but it doesn’t stink!! Covers and seeps well. I really just wanted the spray gun, but thought what the heck. Let’s try wool wax too. Glad I did. Very well packaged. That’s always a sign of a seller who cares! My only disappointment, the wands you get are very nice, However, no where thin enough to push into my lower car/truck door drain holes…. As far as I can see there isn’t a long thin wand attachment for this spray gun. Might have to continue the aerosol spray can for the door application. If the seller or anyone knows of a thin 360 wand, holler! Besides that nit pick, this spray gun and product are awesome!

Works great
This kit is just what I needed, which is everything to get the job done. I used a small compressor along with the provided gun and wands. It’s a little messy, but not bad and no dripping. I drove my truck up on ramps and used a creeper. It took about 2 hours, but I really soaked it down good and got it into all the hidden places. My truck had light surface rust so I just went over all of it without wire brushing it. The Woolwax coverts it nicely and it looks like a brand new frame now. I’ve already driven in a few rainstorms on the highway and all of the product is still in place. I think next years application will be way less time as the product that sees no road spray should stay there for years to come. It will just need a yearly touch up. I used Fluid Film before but Woolwax is much thicker and wash resistant. Highly recommend anyone living in the rust belt to do this to their vehicle if they plan to keep it long term.

Nice gun
The gun worked nice for applying the product. The spray nozzles are not meant for getting into the door panels or rocker panel seams.

Great Performance and Value
The kit arrived with everything listed, gun with nozzle, 360 wand, straight wand, and 4 qts of woolwax. I pulled the car up on ramps and placed the rear end on jack stands. With a couple drop cloths down, I used a creeper to move under the car. After removing a couple plugs, I used the 360 wand to get inside every hole. Since I didn't have enough clearance to use the nozzle, i used the straight wand to cover the remaining parts. As the directions say, you have to play with the pressure and air/oil mix until you get what you want. There was very little over-spray, and I had access to far more than I did with rattle cans. The only issue I had was that I wish I used a swivel or 90 degree fitting for the air supply. It would not be an issue with a lift, but things were tight on a creeper. Other than a stiff neck and shoulders, the application went very well. I used just under 1 qt for a Jeep Patriot as opposed to 4 rattle cans. The best part is, you can buy fluid film by the gallon for $40-$50.

Perfect choice!!
I buy and use a lot of car care products but wool wax is absolutely one of the best. The gun works great, the product goes on easy with little to no mess and the directions are simple and top notch. I'll be use this product every year from now on. Paid a dealership $500 to rustproof a truck a couple of years ago and had a hard time finding any proof they actually sprayed anything on it. This is a quality product imo.

Great stuff!
This truly stuck to the underneath of the car! The spray was easy to accomplish after I heated it with hot water in sink. Similar to hearing a baby bottle. It does have an odor for a few days but we just left the car sit outside of the garage. No drips on the drive either. The spray nozzle cleaned as easy as can be expected. The only problem was our small dog likes to lay under park cars to get out of the sun and got it in her fur. A dish soap bath took care of it. We have done 2 of our 4 cars so far.

Messy but worth it
This is the best kit I can find, buy this one then get more fluid film locally if you need more. Compressor quality (higher cfm) makes a difference as far as having enough air flow to spray the product well. Having used wool wax and fluid film wool wax sprays a little easier and smells less nasty. The stuff makes everything on your underbody nasty and covered with goo but that’s the point, so just be ready. After a winter it definitely works... but you have to get it absolutely everywhere and into every crevasse to make it do it’s job right. So for a truck you’ll want to get a bit more than just a gallon. And prep your workspace accordingly for the mess... wear a mask.. and mask off your exhaust components
