A good pair of blades but questionable spring design
A good pair of blades but questionable spring design. Prior to making the purchase, I read other reviews that talk about how one should glue the spring the pruner. The day I received the item, I inspected it and noticed the spring was indeed loose and may fell off. I decided to proceed with some yard work before coming back to secure the spring. That was a big mistake. I merrily trimmed some shrubs for about 20 minutes. Then I noticed the spring was gone and nowhere to be found. The item is still serviceable. The size is handy and the blades are sharp (so far). I can trim stems with a half inch diameter easily with it. A few more cuts are needed if thicker, but it does the job. Still, the pruner is a bit annoying to use since the blades would no longer bounce back to position. I know the seller has replacement springs, but I don't feel like putting more money down for the questionable design. Update: I am upping the rating from three to four star since the seller has since then sent me a new replacement, which I appreciate. I hope they will improve on how the spring is secured. Until then, I still suggest buyers to secure the spring on their own once the produces arrives. I just used two cable ties to hold on my spring. In short, it should be a decent pair of pruner, but I can't give more than three stars because how loose the spring is. If you decide to purchase, make sure you secure the spring immediately after opening the package.

Don't lose your spring!
I wish I'd read the reviews and glued the spring or ordered a different pair. The second time I used the pruners I also lost my spring. Otherwise, they did a reasonable job and would be worth the price.

Good for the money, I suppose
It's nice and sharp right off the bat but doesn't take long to get dull. The spring is just balanced between two pegs so it doesn't take much to have it pop out and lose it. It feels somewhat cheap (lightweight).

ZOCKEY bypass pruning shears
Great pruner for small work. Not intended for large limbs. Very sharp and makes very clean cuts on flower stems and small branches on trees. This a well constructed pruners tha should last for many years.
